Several friends took turns reading verses of this congratulations poem at a friend's graduation party.  The poem was  entertaining, and it was especially valuable since Joe's school friends were not aware of Joe's background.

This poem is meant to celebrate
The work of our friend Joe,
He made some great accomplishments
In this last week or so.

His faithful work and study both
Paid off in several ways,
His graduation’s pending and
For that he’s due great praise.

He stuck right to his studies and
Has earned authentication.
His professional massage techniques
Have official certification.

Just cause his wife to say,
"I love Joe, and know that he
Won’t rub me the wrong way."

Although this graduation stuff
Advances Joe’s vocation,
The real exciting news is that
He now has joined our nation!

Joe took the oath last August and
Became a citizen.
We are glad to know he is
Among our countrymen.
