A hero is just what
He’ll always be
To those of us who are
His family.
He cares for us indeed
And takes great pains to meet each need.

Seems that I could somehow, maybe, thank both you and your dear wife,
For the things that you’ve accomplished, but how can I thank you for my whole life?

You made our house a home.
We’re now apart,
But, even if I roam,
You're  in my heart.
I thank my stars above
That I have got this dad I love.
