candle

This is an example of an inspirational poem. I wrote it for a youth group I was working with.  If you'll let me, I can write any kind of poem at all for anyone you want!

FLAME

A candle flame is small and weak.
Its fire barely glows.
But pass it on from wick to wick
It grows and grows and grows.

Resulting light illuminates
The darkness into day,
And in the flicker of the flames
The shadows go away.

And so we see, in humble spark
Is mighty fire found,

When sparks are not held closely, but
Are freely passed around.
