With this poem, we gave the bridal couple the products mentioned (in caps, below) as gifts while we read the poem. The guests did the reading, one by one, with each reader presenting one or two gifts. This was fun!

toaster of love

You ALL are getting married.
It’s the DAWN of a new day!
So we have gathered things and thoughts
To help you on your way.

It doesn’t take a WIZARD
As you enter a new ERA
After all your wedding dates.

And even now we can BEHOLD
The BOUNCE that’s in your steps,
As you approach your daily tasks
With optimistic pep.

You may find your new ROOMMATE
Might not be a MR CLEAN,
But he will fill your life with JOY
Like you have never seen.

So don’t send out an S.O.S.
If dust accumulates,
For when it comes to married JOY,
Then dusting can just wait.

RESOLVE to PLEDGE yourself to love
Then SNUGGLE without end
And a CASCADE of happiness
Will pour on you, dear friends.
