All of earth’s creatures have wishes
And dreams that they hope will come true.
Winnie the Pooh wished for honey,
Kanga wished for little Roo.
Sallie has got her own wishes
At this certain time in her days –
She wishes for joy as a mother
With a wonderful baby to raise.
She wishes for baby’s good fortune
As the small, tiny girl learns and grows.
Yes, Sallie’s so full of good wishes
You almost could say Sallie glows.
But some of her wishes quite lately
Have been of the practical sort,
When, feeling quite queasy and looking quite green,
"I wish I weren’t sick," she’d report.
But then she would wish for blue corn chips
To wash down the chocolate so sweet,
Topped off by the Cool Ranch Doritos
That she very much craved to eat.
Yes, throughout her pregnancy, wishes
Have not been a thing which she lacks.
And now, as the day gets much closer,
She wishes her old figure back.
And all of us also have wishes
We now truly wish to express.
We wish for you, Tom, and your baby
A lifetime of great happiness.
We’ve one final wish, quite important,
Which we are now going to impart –
We wish you remember us always
And carry our love in your heart.
