Some folks write novels,
The world they astound
By weaving fine phrases
To speak thoughts profound.

Some compose symphonies,
Chords that uplift.
And me, I write nonsense,
Yet I get a gift!

Thank you for all of your kind Generosity.
I must confess that it does
Mean a lot to me.

These poems are silly,
Not witty and clever,
But if you pay this good
I’ll write them forever!
