A long poem of tribute is a fantastic way to show appreciation to a very special person at a party in their honor. The poem generally runs about 8 to 10 minutes to read aloud, (though it can be shorter or longer, if you wish). Our usual pattern is to start them out lighthearted, have a few downright funny sections, then express sincere, deeply-felt emotions (this is the "brings tears to your eyes" section), and end lighthearted again - although this can vary.
